Spiritual Alignment: Walk the path that's truly yours.
Living in harmony with your inner truth brings a sense of peace, purpose and a little magic. It isn't about religion or belief; it's about whether your days match what your heart already knows.
What it is
Spiritual Alignment is your alignment with your heart and with what you feel is the right way to live. It's about embodying your higher nature and walking the path of your highest potential.
Its five aspects
- Values Knowing what matters most to you, as shown by how you live rather than what you think you should value.
- Gratitude Noticing what's already good, including what you bring, so life feels full rather than lacking.
- Integrity Closing the gap between what's true inside you and how you live on the outside.
- Stillness Regular quiet in which you can feel what lies deeper than your thoughts.
- Purpose A sense of the path your life is asking you to walk, and the courage to take the next step on it.
For the one everyone leans on
When you give from duty, not truth
Many givers are guided by a real sense of service, and that's a gift. But when every yes comes from duty or fear of disappointing someone, a gap opens between your inner truth and the life you're living. Jeremy calls this the Integrity Gap, and it leaks energy every day. Alignment isn't about adding more; it's about subtraction, so what's true can lead.
Find your giving patternWhat tends to get in the way
-
Discontent & Emptiness
Life looks fine from the outside and still feels hollow. That emptiness isn't failure; it's a signal that something in you wants to be heard.
-
Confusion & Indecision
When you've spent years tuning in to what others want, your own inner voice can be hard to find. Not knowing is part of the way back, not proof that you're lost.
-
External Focus
Your sense of direction comes from other people's needs, approval or expectations. It's a way of staying connected and safe, and it can also drown out your own guidance.
Free practices
Begin gently, in ten minutes or less.
Small, body-first practices you can begin today. Choose one. Doing one gently beats doing them all once.
-
Find your values in how you live
Look at where your time, energy and money actually go, and at what you light up talking about. Write down the three values that keep appearing, because your life shows them more honestly than any list. Then ask whether each one includes you.
-
Ten gratitudes
Write down ten things you're grateful for, and keep going past the obvious. Include at least one thing about yourself, and one challenge that taught you something. Gratitude moves your attention from what's missing to what's already here.
-
Five minutes of being
Set a timer for five minutes, close your eyes and rest your attention on your breath and the feeling inside your body. You're not trying to get anywhere. When your awareness is in the body, you are present.
-
Ask your future self
Journal on this: imagine yourself a few years from now, living in alignment. How are you showing up, and what have you stopped doing? The answer often holds the seeds of your path.
Your 7-day plan
One small step a day.
Each day takes ten minutes or less, and each one builds on the last. Miss a day? Simply pick up where you are.
- Day 1 Morning stillness Before any input, sit for three minutes and ask: what is my heart calling me to do today? Listen without judging what comes.
- Day 2 Name three values Look at where your time and energy actually went this week. Write down three values your life is already showing, and one you'd like it to show more.
- Day 3 Check one choice Before one decision today, pause and ask: does this choice align with my values, or with what someone else expects?
- Day 4 Specific gratitude Tell someone exactly what you're grateful for, going beyond a quick thanks. Then write down one thing you appreciate about yourself.
- Day 5 Follow a small nudge Notice one small intuitive nudge today, to call someone, to rest or to take a different route, and follow it. Notice what it's like to trust yourself.
- Day 6 Write a let-go list Write down one habit, belief or obligation that no longer belongs on your path. Then choose one small way to loosen your grip on it this week.
- Day 7 Feel what's aligned Look back over the week and notice when you felt most like yourself, what you were doing and who you were with. Choose one thing to make more room for next week.
